1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to Green Cyprus Platform. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Platform. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Definitions

• "Platform" refers to the Green Cyprus website and all related services.
• "User" or "You" refers to anyone who accesses or uses the Platform.
• "Host" refers to local providers who offer experiences through our Platform.
• "Experience" refers to tours, activities, workshops, and other services offered by Hosts.
• "Booking" refers to a reservation made through our Platform.
• "Content" refers to text, images, reviews, and other materials on the Platform.

3. Eligibility

To use our Platform, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• Not be prohibited from using the Platform under applicable laws
• Provide accurate and complete registration information

4. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information as needed
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Booking and Payments

5.1 Making a Booking

When you book an Experience, you enter into a contract with both Green Cyprus (for platform services) and the Host (for the Experience itself). You agree to:

• Review all Experience details before booking
• Provide accurate participant information
• Comply with the Host's requirements and policies
• Arrive at the designated time and location

5.2 Payments

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a payment, you:

• Authorize us to charge your payment method
• Confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method
• Agree to pay all applicable fees, taxes, and charges

5.3 Pricing

Prices are displayed in Euros and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Hosts set their own prices, and prices may change at any time before booking.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation policies vary by Experience. The specific policy is displayed on each Experience page before booking. Generally:

• Free cancellation is available up to 24-48 hours before the Experience
• Late cancellations may result in partial or no refund
• No-shows forfeit the full booking amount
• Host cancellations result in full refunds to Users

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of others
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users or hosts
• Use the Platform for unauthorized commercial purposes
• Attempt to circumvent security measures
• Scrape, copy, or extract data from the Platform
• Use automated systems to access the Platform

8. User Content

You may submit reviews, photos, and other content ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you:

• Grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content
• Represent that you own or have rights to the content
• Agree that we may moderate or remove content at our discretion
• Accept responsibility for the accuracy and appropriateness of your content

9. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Green Cyprus and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee:

• The accuracy or reliability of any Experience or Host information
• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• The quality, safety, or legality of any Experience
• That the Platform will meet your specific requirements

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GREEN CYPRUS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the booking in question.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Green Cyprus, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cyprus, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.

14. Dispute Resolution

We encourage users to contact us first to resolve any disputes informally. For EU consumers, the European Commission provides an Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our Platform or sending you an email. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
